About Harma Exploits

Harma Exploits Limited is a Ugandan agricultural sourcing and export company established in 2019 to serve international buyers while building sustainable, transparent, and equitable agricultural value chains.

We specialize in the ethical sourcing, processing, and export of premium Ugandan vanilla, cocoa, coffee, cassava, and other agricultural commodities, working directly with smallholder farmers across key agricultural regions.

Our History and Purpose

Harma Exploits Limited was founded to bridge the gap between large-scale international buyers and Uganda’s smallholder farmers. As global markets increasingly demand sustainability, traceability, and ethical sourcing, Harma was established to act as a trusted service provider creating vertically integrated supply chains—starting from the farm gate to export.

Since 2019, we have focused on building long-term farmer partnerships, investing in processing capacity, and implementing digital traceability systems to meet evolving global sourcing requirements.

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve the well-being of Ugandan farmers—particularly in the vanilla, coffee, and cocoa sectors—by ethically sourcing high-quality produce, creating sustainable employment opportunities, and delivering export-ready products to global markets.

Farmer Network and Impact

Harma Exploits Limited works with a growing network of over 2,500 vanilla fields, expanding toward 5,000 farmers over a three-year period. Of these, more than 700 farmers are organically certified.

Our operations span regions including Rubirizi, Masaka, Mukono, Kasese, Mbale, Buikwe, Kagadi, and Ibanda. We prioritize long-term relationships that ensure fair pricing, consistent supply, and improved livelihoods for farming communities.

Sustainability & Community Focus

The well-being of farming communities is central to our work. Through partnerships and data-driven engagement, we promote social, economic, and environmental sustainability.

We support farmers through agronomy training, market education, field verification, internal control systems for certification, and access to microfinance for farm inputs and education.

Our Partners

Our operations are supported by strategic partnerships across the agricultural value chain, enabling compliance, transparency, and consistent supply for international markets.
